Using Delete Multiple Layouts command, you
can delete multiple layouts at once. By running this command you open
List of Layouts for Deleting window.

The window contains the following items:
Selection options:
- Select multiple items
Using the the wildcards such as asterisk (*) you can select multiple
items (layouts) from the list.
For example, if you enter “BSKP*” into this field, then after clicking
on the button,
all items in the list beginning with “BSKP” will be selected in the
list.
button selects the list items based on "Select
multiple items" field entry.
- Radio button Add to Selection
When this radio button is selected, after clicking the button,
the items defined by “select multiple items” field entry will be added
to the list of selected items.
- Radio button Remove from Selection
When this radio button is active, after clicking the buton,
the items defined through the “select multiple items” field entry will
be removed from the list of selected items.
Buttons - Select:
- All - (selects all items in the layouts list)
- Nothing - (after clicking on the button, all items in the layouts
list are un-selected)
Layouts list
The list displays all layouts contained within the DWG file you are
currently working with.
Select the list items using "Select Multiple
Items” field or
in standard Windows way (Left-clicking and using SHIFT and/or CTRL key).
Buttons:
- OK - (deletes all layouts selected in the layouts list from the
DWG drawing)
- Cancel - (cancels the entire procedure and closes the window)
Procedure
From the main menu run Layouts > Delete
Multiple Layout command.
List of Layouts for Deleting window opens (Figure
2).

Let’s assume you want to delete the schemetic diagram of cable serving
area 1,2 and 3
and the route site plan in 1:500 scale, which is prepared for printing
on multiple sheets (there are several layouts),
and you want to keep one sheet from that site plan (e.g. sheet (layout)
SIT_500_3).
In this case, the procedure would be as follows:

Add to selection radio button is selected.
Enter BSKP* to the layout name “select multiple items” field and
then click .
With this, you’ve selected the schematic diagrams in the list for
all three cable serving areas. |
Add to selection radio button is still selected.
Enter SIT_500* to the layout name “select multiple items” field
and then click .
With this, you’ve selected all route site plan sheets in 1:500
scale (together with previously selected items). |
Now select the Remove
from Selection
radio button. Enter SIT_500* to the layout name “select multiple
items” field and then click .
SIT_500_3 layout will no longer be selected. |

By clickingOK, layouts selected in the
list will be deleted.

So,
by combining adding (and/or removing items) to the list of selected items,
we form the list of layouts to be deleted.
Adding and removing is done using commands from Selection
Options frame or
in standard Windows way (left-clicking and using SHIFT and/or CTRL keys).
By clicking OK, layouts selected in the list
(blue background) will be deleted.
