Functional description: Construct a building of irregular shape, with walls at an angle of 90°.

Object in N Points (90°) command enables you to a draw a building of irregular shape with sides (walls) at an angle of 90°.
The process of drawing with this command is exactly the same as with Object in N Points command, but the mouse movement is restricted to movements at a right angle or parallel to the first drawn side (wall).

Procedure

From the main menu run Buildings > Object in N Points(90°)
command. The command is now active.

The cursor is displayed in a form of a  „+” (plus) sign
with the text next to it instructing you to specify the first point for defining the building basis (Figure 1).
(While drawing you can use the raster image as the basemap.)

Specify the first point by left-clicking, and then drag the mouse cursor to the next point.
A dotted line is temporarily displayed connecting the starting point and the current mouse position (Figure 2).

By clicking on the second point, a full temporary line is displayed.

Move the cursor freely in the desired direction in order to assign the third point.
The movement of the mouse is restricted and can only be at a right angle to the previously drawn side (wall).
While doing so, a dotted line is displayed  connecting the end of the full line and the current mouse position (Figure 3).

...and finally, by right-clicking (or pressing the ENTER key) close the polyline that represents the building basis.

Please note that the last side (wall) won’t be drawn at a right angle. To be so, a side before the last one should be drawn using commands OTRACK and OSNAP from AutoCAD status bar.

After closing the polyline Construction of Building window opens (Figure 7). The window is used to enter the
data about the building (and NID).
(This window is explained in detail on page
Window - Construction of Buildings)
